UME News

Thank you for your interest in UME Preparatory Academy. At UME Prep, our mission is to strengthen families as we help students succeed in a college-preparatory environment that prepares men and women of character for the next generation. We accomplish this through a unique college-prep delivery system called the University Method of Education (UME) for Grades K-12.

UME Prep will serve grades K-10 for 2014-2015, and we’ll add a grade level each subsequent year. We maintain that this inventive university method of class scheduling creates a strategically enhanced academic environment that provides students with a rigorous academic program along with the proper adult guidance needed to develop a strong work ethic and major intellectual, life, and career skills.

UME Preparatory Academy exists to produce college- and work-ready graduates who have a strong work ethic, firm grounding in core academic content, and major academic and vocational skills and to offer parents, as their child’s first and best teachers, time and training so that they will have enhanced opportunities to strengthen their families as they exercise greater influence over the spiritual, intellectual, and emotional growth of their children.

We invite you to learn more about the UME Approach to help you explore whether UME Prep is the right choice for your family.
